About Prevail

Hi, I’m Kyle Sommers.

I started Prevail Personal Fitness to share education, philosophy, health, and fitness with people from all backgrounds, giving you the guidance to make lasting lifestyle improvements.

Private & calm

Appointment-only, so the floor and the coach are yours.

Built around you

Strength-first programming that respects your recovery and history.

Who I am

A calmer, more human approach to training.

My roster is currently full; openings are rare. Join the waitlist and I’ll reach out when a spot opens.

Private, not crowded

Appointment-only sessions so every minute stays focused with no waiting on equipment or space.

Respect for your history

We train around your background, previous injuries, and recovery needs to keep you progressing.

Measurable progress

Every block has targets and checkpoints. We adjust with intent, not guesswork.

Philosophy

Personalized. Holistic. Respectful.

I believe training should be personalized, holistic, and inspiring, not a punishment.

I believe progress is how you feel and perform in and out of the gym, not just how you look.

I do not believe everyone should eat, move, or recover the same way; your challenges should be yours.

I believe a healthy body brings forward a healthy mind, and that discipline pays dividends.

I’m interested
Strength-forward programming with the right balance of mobility and conditioning.
Calm, premium environment: clean equipment, curated music, and focused sessions.
Communication that fits you: concise cues when you want them, deeper breakdowns when you need them.

My story

From 260 lbs to a career in coaching.

I grew up making unhealthy choices and weighed 260 lbs at 18. I tried starving, bingeing, and purging, lost 110 lbs in five months, and was diagnosed with bulimia nervosa. It nearly broke me.

I started reading everything on health, training, nutrition, and mental wellbeing. I learned how body and mind can work together when you respect them. I trained, failed, adjusted, and found what worked.

Discipline is hard. Being unhappy is harder. Training and eating well is difficult, and it is worth it. Your mind and body will pay dividends for your discipline.

My goal now: share what I’ve learned, cut the noise, and help you make sustainable, confidence-building change.
